The tidechart is going to look confusing for a few months
so we have to take a hour off our tide charts???? Is the paper going to publish daylight saving tides or real tides...
I think my curtains are fading.....

Wouldn't you need to add an hour? Don't forget you're an hour ahead now so just say the tide chart said a low at 4... your 4 o'clock is now what was 3 (coz you went forward an hour), so low tide will be 5 now.

OMG Jay, where is the calculator?
I would think you would add an hour to your charts so that you match your new DS time.
Greg B was out on his boat yesterday adjusting his GPS timeclock as he reckons the satelites are at different positions at different times and the gps could be fooled into looking in the wrong places for satelites and fail to boot up when in a new location. I'm not convinced that this is the correct approach, as I am sure the satelites haven't moved because the time has changed. I would have thought you would be better leaving them at the old time to pick up the satelites.
Anyone have any other theories with that one?
Cheers
