dead jellies

anyone kown why all the big ugly jelly fish are dying at the biddy, thousands of the big suckers, the anchor rope is so slimy its hard to pull up, even gets on your lures and fishing line, they are just rotting to pieces

Maybe there spawning.. but i dunno..Jellyfish spawn when males release sperm into the water. Females eggs are fertilized internally as they swim and pump water through the body. And i think some jellyfish reproduce by splitting themselves several times..but im not sure.. maybe yur anchor rope is slimy coz its covered in jelly sperm and eggs haha
