Deep drop coral bay

Hey guys just chasing any advice on deep dropping for rubys out of coral bay. What depths should i start looking? Should I look for big shows on the sounder or just small shows. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks brayden

If it is anything like

If it is anything like Exmouth start looking in 250mtrs plus. Any sort of structure or fish show is worth a drop. Most of my fish come from 280mtrs. Just got to beat the sharks.

I've fished CB a lot over

I've fished CB a lot over many years but not deep drop so cant give you much info but...

would say that you would be better to travel out of north passage as the depth drops off quicker the further north you go. bare in mind it will be a long way to the 250m mark.

you wont find much in the way of structure so only look for flare ups.

 Long waaaay out to find

Long waaaay out to find Ruby's I'd say

100m for goldband is easy enough but 250m+ for rubys I reckon would be hard yakka

I'm sure theyre there if you do the hard yards...we had a crack last year for no deep drop joy, in fact drove to exxy for a day rather than waste too much time prospecting coral bay for rubies.

good luck mate interested to see how you get on

Rubys

C/Bay is a good spot for Ruby's and the 250m - 320m depths are the go, no structure so look for dense schools of fish near the top edges - good luck.
