Deep shit in Dongara

 G'day guys,

me and afew mates have decided to pretty much wing it and tow the boat to dongara. Got here around 2 thsarvo and shot out about 3nm, about 15 mtrs of water pretty much where the dirty water goes clear. The whole coastline is filthy presumably from the swell. We had just one really good lost hookup in under 2hrs  today and struggled to find much ground at all. With 3 odd days to go here we are in a bit of strive and desperate need of some info haha. Don't want co- ords just a rough idea of how far out we should try, heard the 50mtr mark was good but honestly we don't ask for a whole lot fish wise. Afew keepers and we will be stoked.

Cheers lads!

Honestly the place is loaded with good ground. Drive towards Leander reef and on the way stop on any good bottom, fish around it, and if all else fails go on the west side on the flats and have a bit of a go. Get away from within say 5 mile and get out a bit. Honestly mega ground within 15 mile. Also look for craypots and drift around them. At the moment mega sambos, cobia, dhus, pinkies, sweetlip and tuna around

Battled on today headed south towards an oil rig. Only really one spot fired but it was Dhuies like blowies got 4 all within pretty much 10 mins, ranging from 5 to 7kgs. Released probably the two biggest fish. Actual blowies rocked up soon after. Otherwise we got 2 undersized dhus and baldies and a tailor on a slice from right on the oil rigs pilons. Thanks for the info lads dunno about turtle dove  tho pretty far but weel see! Pics to come
