Denham

Heading to denham tomoz for a week is the there anywhere to  go for a land-based fish other than steep point around the area or a free dive.  Seems to be mostly shallow water on the maps.

Sorry I put an emoji in and it stuffed up my whole comment which went something like:

bluebone can be found in shallow rocky places

snapper will surprise you where they turn up

Wind looks good Monday Tuesday this week but howling as far as the forecast goes

steep point is a very long drive as I'm sure u know, definitely not a day trip

Goodluck

Always worth a night fish

You would be amazed how close fish come after dark feeding in the shallow but make sure you don't shine any sort of light on the water

Head up towards Cape Peron, there are a few spots where you can beach fish and skin dive successfully

Fish the tip of Cape Peron

Tue, 2020-12-29 15:47

Fish the tip of Cape Peron just east of the actual point right on sunset and the snapper come through every night.

We camped up there a few years ago and because of small kids, used to pack up when it was getting towards sunset. Some old timers told us to ditch the little ones and set up for the sunset run. Only casting with 7 foot rods with a star sinker running rig so not beach gear. Sure enough, sitting in deck chairs having a beer and then one after another the rods went off. Biggest fish were at the front of the school but we bagged out in 15 minutes! 2 families and 10 people so those 6 fish (3 anglers) did us for a couple of days and then we went back and did it again! different time of year but worth thinking about. Very fishy out there.
