Gday All
Anyone ventured out wide this season yet? (wide i mean the Trench chasing bills)
Few days next week where the weather looks to be good for a wide run chasing the ever elusive Bills.......... Keeping fingers crossed the reports stay good and ill be buring some fuel and hopefully turning some reels!

Not yet
Not yet as have been laid up lately and not able to go on the boat.
Some good water temps out there atm and dollies are being caught so you never know.
Been a strong current flowing from the North too so lets hope it brings down some good fish.

Dollies
We normally get our bigger dollies in open water on the marlin skirts anyway.
Good luck

Same here Tim. Often get
Same here Tim. Often get good dollies near the FADs but maybe a few hundred metres plus away. Perhaps the bigger fish are more prepared to stray wide of the FADs?

Big
We can be kn's away and find the big ones.
Biggest ones have come off bait schools in 800-1000m while hoping for a marlin.
Always a let down to hear the drag go and then see it jump and not be the target species

Dollies
we were fishing in 45m last Wednesday and a school of stonking big dollies cruised past under the boat and hung around for 10mins or so, couldn’t tempt them but it’s the first time I’d seen them in shallowish depths off perth.
My spots are so secret even the fish don't know about them !
