Dhufish on whiting rig

Went out with Heath the other day from Cockburn, just past five fathom bank. Good conditions, caught a few fish. Drifted off a lump, Heath says lets go around again. Hang on a second, Im getting a couple of (small) nibbles. Anyway, start to wind up my line and about 10 seconds later something goes BANG and im on. Something has hit me on the way up I say to Heath, calling it for a sambo. Few big runs, maybe its a big pinkie. Anyway bring it up to the boat, and blow me down its a Dhufish. Got it in, and it had taken the bottom hook rigged for kgs. 2 snelled 1/0 mustad hoodlums, with a tiny strip of skinned occy. Couldn't believe it!
Went 12kg fat as and 90cm. My best dhufish so far... Stoked!

cheers fellas, yes, the rig snapped just as we got the fish (her) in the boat. Beau, did not catch any kgs this trip but have caught some crackers up to 60cm in the past out behind five fathom on broken ground.
