Dhuies Rock
I pushed in on Saturday around the seven am mark,slowed by the early chill and several cups of cofee. we made our way out to the grounds in an uncomfortable following sea with nasty holes,slowing down our progress to 15 knts. We were fuelled by a week of reading the fishwrecked forums and had read all the weather reports finally finding one that had a great forecast. First part of the morning was really slow, with one reasonable baldy, and a sucessfully released small dhuie. As the day progressed we managed a Female dhu and in the arvo another,male this time.Overall the bite was slow and we worked hard for the bites but it was wa worthwkile outing. The friends and family where happy with the dinner provided on Sunday and my daughter held an impromptu concert on my boat tribute to the dhufish. Any how, off to hillarys to deliver the carcasses.
