"stolen" by the teenage son maybe...
Might need a bit of a detail once its dug out
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

What, driving a 4x4 on the beach and getting bogged doesn't give you the right to have a nice one?

My brother visited my sister
My brother visited my sister in Carnarvon and they ordered a pizza and the bloke rings them and asks where they are and they say on the beach, hang on two seconds. Nekminit the bloke is driving his Hyundai i20 towards them and gets bogged in the soft sand and then burys the car up to the axles trying to reverse out of there and they spend the next 40 minutes trying to dig him out. Was the cherry on top for my brother's horror holiday which included a smashed TV, a lost 2y old and a smashed kayak.
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

best ever
The best I saw was when I lived at preston beach and had a series 3 landrover with a hot 161 holden motor that some farm boys had put together. It flew on the beach anyhooo I was parked up with rods out and some brand new small 4x4 came flying down the beach and about 30 metres from me did a sharp left and went straight in the ocean.the next wave completely covered it up when the wave was receding some bloke jumped out the passenger side ran around the back and pulled a small girl out of the drivers seat.both doors completely bent out towards the front with the wave action and the next wave smashed them shut as it filled up.lucky the next vehicle was a fred hulls massive f 250 ford with a 7.5 diesel and a snatch strap who yanked it out so hard it bent it even more.Turns out it was his mates who had just bought it and let him take it down the beach and he let his 11 year old drive it and she hit a bump planted her foot and panicked and drove it till it stopped.Sorry mate it got a bit wet
just do it.

preston
I loved living down Preston Beach.Another time my elderly neighbor pulled up and I had a 5 foot gaff in a holder in the back and he commented what do you need that for and before I could reply my big alvey stick bent clean over.A 6 foot bronze whaler smashed the live whiting I had out.We could see it clearly it was one of those crystal clear mornings and this thing thrashed about on the surface.I had it on for about 5 minutes before it bit me off or tail cut me.When I looked back he was in shock.Thats fishing. At Carnarvon jetty same stick with 5/0 gang and a big slab of mullet fillet,At the time the end was open and I was right out the front on my own and an old couple walked up.the rod tip twitched a bit and she said your getting a bite and I said until it bends completely over its O.K.she goes sure mate she was really miserable as they had driven to Darwin and she was over it poor bloke trying to keep her happy next minute over goes the rod and I landed a 1280mm mulloway about 25lb or so.Love Carnarvon
just do it.
