Exmouth Salmon

Just got a message from Deepwater, he said he just lost a salmon off the end of the Learmonth jetty, sounds strange but if anyone knows salmon eff does.
He got his first at age of 5 on South Conto beach and over the next 35 years has caught thousands either as a rec with rod and reel or as a pro so I don't doubt his claim for one second

Bloody hell
I thought the oceans were meant to be getting warmer, tropical species heading south...then a cold water species moves up to the tropics???? Bizarre. Global Cooling is coming!! edit--when i saw the thread title, I thought they were referring to blues or threadies.

Plenty of warm water at present up and down the west coast.
