Dinghy repairer recommendations

I have a 6 inch crack on the keel line of a stacer dinghy. As a boilermaker by trade in a previous life i know this is a 30 minute job max for someone that has a ali mig or tig. (problem is I dont have access to either otherwise I would do it myself) Can some one suggest a quality repairer they have used in the past that wont play games or charge like a wounded bull for a simple repair. The dinghy is mobile and can be delivered any where in the metro area but south is prefered.

Any advice or experiences will be appreciated.

Silicon

What ever you do, do not put silicon or sikaflex over the hole. It soaks in to the metal and when you go to weld, it bubbles out and causes you to blow holes in it.

try bullet boats in rocky the boys in there are always helpful and don't charge like they have a monopoly on the welding game and don't mind small jobs
