The fishing wa boys did a special on it a couple of weekends ago. I think you catch just about anything to any size nearly any where! A mate said he had friends that visited a few weeks back when the conditions were perfect, said they were backing the boat in close to the cliffs and pulling out solid 10kg+ baldies. Just awaiting the photos!
in close to the cliffs to the south of steep point we caught heaps of big pinkies and to the north of the island around turtle bay there was lots of baldies and tailor.theres a sholl not far from turtle bay that also produces some nice fish
