Disney World Fishing ????

Just putting it out there, is there any spots in Disney world  Orlando to go fishing, I'm here for 2 weeks and was thinking of catching a fish here in the USA

There is lakes and water way every where, I was thinking if they had fish in them ???

I have heard there is some Snakeheads in the rivers here that were introduced and the bass but I don't know where ?

The blue water fish I will get once we get to the Bahamas after the 2 weeks here, my Self and the boys were thinking of catching a white marlin just for some thing to do on the 7 day cruise

  Thanks.          Jeff

Don't know much...

...about Florida fishing but those lakes/ponds you mention most likely have largemouth bass, bluegill and catfish in them.

I remember staying at the Disneyland Hotel in California and the had the biggest koi I've ever seen in the hotel's pond...would've been 25kg plus, a real bow-and -arrow job; although Mickey, Donald and all their mates wouldn't have been too impressed...

Find a tackle store close by mate, I'm sure they'll know a lot more about Yankee fish than us.

Hey Deepwater I just left Orlando. There is a massive camping , fishing and outdoor place on International drive near the factory outlet centre. If you catch the trolley bus on International drive it will drop you off there I think it's stop 2. Check it out nothing like you've ever seen before. I had a pretty good chat with the bloke in the fishing section he reckons most of the salwater fishing is miles out. Not sure about the local water ways but I reckon you'd have to have a crack if you had time. Maybe message Ken Tse I reckon he'd have an idea. Make sure you do Kennedy space centre.

If you've never been Bass

If you've never been Bass fishing before I'd definitely recommend giving it a go

From what I remember we booked with a boat that met us on the lake just near the hotel (Disney yatch club I think), spent the day exploring the lake and caught plenty of big Bass

if i was you and your around cities or areas that do not hsve much water areas id reckomend fishing for bass in golf course ponds .  Growing up in texas and only fishing for bass i caught countless bass out of golf coures  ( the nicer the course usually the better the fish due to lack of people sneaking on to fish it  ) bring a couple spinnerbaits and a solo hooked wacky worm and hVe fun with um . Sneak on right before dark whenever no one is playing
