Rod and tackle box trolley - any ideas?
Submitted by metrolandbased on Sat, 2013-04-27 11:14
Being fully landbased, I have to treck a fair way to get to some of my spots and carrying three rods, tackle box and bait is difficult when i am by myself so I was wondering if any of you have made your own trolley or cart that has a few rod holders and stuff on it to make carrying all pf your gear to your favourite fishing spot a little easier? This is sort of what I want, but i am on a tight budget so some cheap ideas to make something similar to this would be good. Cheers.

old
old golf buggy is good, get one from a recycling department at the tip for a few bucks, i screwed a crate onto the front , stick your rods in, works well.

I used to use a wheelbarrow with the wide wheel for pushing over sand, would carry all my rods, food water cast net and esky, and when I got to where I wanted to fish, the wheel barrow became a comfy chair.

I used to use a trolley like that with a metal rubbish bin tied onto it to take my gear on the Busselton Jetty when I used to fish there many, many years ago.
