Distance to destination, help required.

Hi, I have a hds9gen2 and can't work out how to get the distance to destination (DTD) to show on the screen, have searched the manual and can't find instructions.
I posted the same question about a hds8 about 12 months ago but can't find that in the search bar.
Any help would be much appreciated.

My Gen2 Touch came with with
My Gen2 Touch came with with the latest software update found in the Gen3, so the instruction booklet didnt help me either. I did it by hitting the power button once, then selecting edit overlay, select Add, select Navigation and then you'll be ablt to select DTD from the drop down menu.

Steering app
I have the same system, I use the steering app on home screen,tells you dtd, time to destination, direction and all that info.

I just hit a way point and
I just hit a way point and then navigate to cursor and it shows the distance to in the bottom left of screen. Or am I missing something?

I've got the HDS7 and it
I've got the HDS7 and it doesn't seem to have an option to have dtd on main chart screen. Any ideas?

You got to go into Menu the choose Page
then select Add then use the drop down menu and go into Navigate (I think) then choose the Distance to Desitination from memory. I check and repost soon.

On a HDS Gen 1 & 2 (not touch)
Here's the step's as I've just checked them
Press MENU twice
Scroll to PAGE (using arrow button)
Use R arrow or ENTER
scroll to EDIT DATA OVERLAY (using arrow button)
Press ENTER
Press the ADD button along the bottom of unit
scroll to NAVIGATION using arrow button
Once highlighted use R arrow button to enter the Navigation menu
Scroll to Distance to Destination (or whatever Data option you wish) using arrow button
Press EXIT to finish adding
Press SAVE button along bottom of unit
If you don't save you're back to where you started.

simo, use bluedogs instructions mines a gen 2 touch and this worked for me.

when on the screen you want
when on the screen you want to edit put your finger on the very top right of the screen then slide down.. that brings up the settings menu for that page... cant remember from there but you will work it out i'm sure... I had to youtube that to find out how....
