Lowrance hds8 gen 2
Submitted by Marineboy on Tue, 2014-07-29 18:59
I have a hds8 gen 2 that I use solely as a gps/plotter.
When I enter a goto to a waypoint I want the distance to go to be shown on the main chart screen as well as speed, I can get the speed to show up in the top left corner but can't get the dtg to show.
I am running a platinum map card.
Can anyone tell me if this can be done and how.
I have the user manual and have trawled through it and still can't work it out.

On the gen 1 just go in to overlay and you can have what ever you want. Dont know if gen 2 is different.

The other way to go is to put
The other way to go is to put your cursor over the waypoit and then hit go to on the fast button on the bottom, from memory this will display all of the nav info including DTG on the screen. Or you can always have a split screen with the nav page which will also display all of the relevent info.
