diving with Alfred

Alfred drove up and jumped on for a dive yesterday hit the water 4:00,sea breeze had just come in ,but the water looked clear. Geared up and hit the water it only tookl 1 second to realise how clear it was. Not too many days do you see the water as clear with visability up to 15 metres plus. Saw plenty of crays, wrass, blue devils, fox fish and got buzzed by 1 big sambo. Only managed 1 sized cray. Spent 1 hour in the water - 1 hour we won't forget in a hurry. Thanks Alfred for the company and we'll look forward to our next dive.

15m? Thats pretty
15m? Thats pretty impressive. I dived from my tin can a few miles s-w of mindarie marina and we had abou 10m vis in 13m. No big sambo but a lot of blue devils, bullseyes, juvie snapper and just the one legal cray.

Glad you had a good time Paul G
North of Leeman there are some beautifull little reefs just off of the beach and at low tide you can just about walk out to them. Nobby head has a good reef system from memory about 6 metres off shore and it should be alive with crays as the pros can't get in too shallow and too many reefs plus all the shacks have gone, we had a friend who had a shack there and it was so peacefully and the crays, Bob's got some great spots straight out from there. Nobby head is about 32 klms north of Leeman.

Thanks for having me on
Thanks for having me on board Paul, have to say that it was the best vis I have had this year. The cray was yummy too! LOL! I got down to 7.1m in one of the holes or swim thrus. Jessie is getting pretty comfortable with the kit and diving as well which was great to see, all we have to do now is to get him some more cray practice.
