4x4?
If you have a 4x4 you could hit up lots of beach/tracks around S-BEND.
Sunrise is good for flogging lures/metals in front of the caravan park or at the bridge (over the bridge and walk right on the beach until you see structure) for tailor.

I've been there quite a lot
I've been there quite a lot but over Christmas. Get some big tailor off the groin. Look for a trough doesn't have to be far from beach. Also there is normally some nice troughs out from seaspray where I have caught my pb tailor 67cm. Seen lots of schools of mulla out from south beach snorkelling plenty of wobbies as well. Poppers work well off groin on sunset.

thx
Big thank you to the comments made on the page.. Unfortunately I do not own a 4wd so travelling on the beach is definitely not an option.. from Google earth it seems like the groyne is stretched pretty far so I guess I will slowly work my way to the point to see any good trenches along the way.. sorry EKUL but when you say bridge? Do u mean the rock groyne cause I cant seem to find a bridge near the caravan park.. a jettu maybe? Keep the comments coming peeps will do up a small report by the end of my fishing weekend next week as well..

^^^ LOL
If you follow the coast line between seaspray and the marina there is a "bridge" over the river and you walk over the bridge to the beach.
can't be missed - on the right along the beach you will see some structure in the water, has produced most times for tailor
but yes i dont know the exact co-ordinates, it is on ocean drive...cheers bitten

I was in Dongara in April and
I was in Dongara in April and fished 7 mile beach (about 10k north of Dongara) quite a bit. Pulled in some nice mulla, spotted mack and huge tailor from the beach. We had a 4x4 and drove a couple of k's up the beach, but you can get to the beach with a normal car. Don't know if it changes much during the winter months though. Beautiful spot.

Two Spots - You don't need a 4WD for
1. Seaspray as listed above, is fantastic... Defantiely some good gutter action there, appears to drop off quite quick at times of the year. Whole whiting gets things going... Big Tailor, and sadly I dropped at least 2 big fishy things there with poor choice of leader. Look for a carpark/park on the very NW edge of town...
2. And I finally got my first Mulla around this time last year, whicher wasn't huge at 68cm, basically a plump soapie... a Mullarette But that was just to the North of Denison Marina, immedatley North of the caravan park there, where there is a few car bays, before the road swings inland into town. (Nailed 5 of them in fact in 60-68cm inside 30 minutes RIGHT on sunset, soapie school)
All that I know...Is that my gut says.....Maybe...

EKUL & Karellean have covered
EKUL & Karellean have covered it mostly; the 'bridge' is just a boardwalk basically but if you fish the lagoon in front it can produce some quality tailor. Try a popper over the reef on the southern side at higher tides. Also if you walk a bit north to the river mouth there is a narrow channel with reef either side which is also good for poppers. Can also get some decent mulloway through there as well but very snaggy if you dont hit the hit channel.
Northern rock wall is pretty consistent if you stay long enough, unweighted mullies are the easiest but a shallow diving minnow is the most fun if the tailor are on. Few squid if your lucky as well.
If you are keen to walk you can either try flicking lures around south beach on sunrise or north of seaspray on the edge of northshore. Keep walking north along the beach and find a gutter.
