heres a pic of me at Nicol bay speedway two weeks before I got run over by two bikes at Claremont speedway that broke my left leg

Used to go to the Friday
Used to go to the Friday nights at Claremont Speedway a lot in the mid 70's, we used to pile into my mates dad's car and head off to watch my mates step brother drive the big #34 Sydney At's Monaro around the circuit like a maniac. He was pretty blood good at it too. Hang down at the side show until half time then head back to watch the sprint cars and the saloon cars.

The Professor
My dad raced sidecars at claremont back in the day. Before my time but he used to tell me went he took me there about a professor that would come at half time and do stunts on his bike. Probably a west aussie evil kenievel

My 11 yr old's boyfriend's (
) family is into the local speedway. His teenage sister is already racing and he is learning at age 11. I only hope that if it turns out to be serious he will have a very good appreciation of driving by the time he has his licence and she will be safe.....

It's a primary school thing.
It's a primary school thing. Very innocent. He's a nice kid and very we're very mindful of making it all very 'normal'. Taking him camping this weekend.... He'll be way out of his comfort zone.
