My mate has two on his boat

My mate has two on his boat that are electric. Trolls live bait, made his own weights that mount gopros, dunno if he still uses the clips or has rubber bands for the breakaway from the weight. Sounds up the fish, drops live bait to the same depth, hes obsessed with getting strike footage etc and getin jumbo sambos atm. Definetly a usefull tool, hes even caught a pinky off the bottom on a 3m quantas laser pro using the rigger. He reckons 1 in 25 fish on average that come in for a look at the livey strike. How many people go for a troll for nuthin and be sayin, meh, theres no fish, but really plenty have come in for a look at the lure or bait and decided not to hit it. You wouldnt know without the footage. Hes tested everything from hard bodys, to soft placcys and even moulded his owqan, but live bait is the best. Gota rig em up right and troll em slow or they spin. He uses skippy and up to 500mm tailor and sambos swallow em sideways!

Iv asked him for some

Iv asked him for some footage, hes not interested in sharing, bloody sook. Pretty cool, seen one the other day of a pair of big sambos following a skippy, one nudging and pushing it with its nose, like a cat playin with a mouse, like they werent really hungry. Then a 3rd one comes in for a hit and all of the sudden, one of the first ones now wants it cos another had a go at it and swallowed it! Its funny seeing the behaviour, sometimes they need to be fired up by something to eat, they are bloody fat so prob not hungry all the time. Ive made a troll/drop down camera and use it against stuff on the sounder, learn a bit and see some cool stuff. Im thinkin of getting or makin a rigger too so I can start pullin some liveys
