Downrigger

G'day guys, I'm thinking of sticking a down rigger on my boat.
Anyone have any recommendations on good or bad makes and models?
Any advise appreciated. I've never used a downriver before. I intend to use it mainly for trolling Pelagics like mackerel and marlin.
thanks

cannon
Cannon are very good. 5 knots is about max speed you can troll.

I have
I have one of these from the downrigger shop. They are well made( machined from solid aluminium ) with basic functions ( nothing to go wrong ) . They come with a clip on counter and are loaded with colour coded braid .
There are lots of other models to choose from but all the ones ive seen are plastic, and i stay away from plastic stuff on my boats after continually having to replace fittings etc .
