dredging?

hi guys

looking to get into some herring and squid this weekend around north mole

but was wondering if I would have any luck with either due to the dredging?

has it been started up again?

yesterday when we came into Freo Harbor the two big dredging rigs where going full ahead, loads of silt in the water at the heads, so who knows????

I would actualy try for some pinkies or other fish, as they stirring up a fair bit of the bottom.

Agree with Tony, i drove past yesterday and the water was almost the colour of the carribean or something. So the bottom would be getting a thrashing maybe even cott groyne or a little further south of northmole might be okay with food getting moved around and drifting??

but driving through very shallow water where the cooling intake sucks up sand will damage it, but thats why it should be replaced every year

I have fished the wharf every thursday night the last 3 weeks in a row and all i can say is that its dead as a door nail. Not a bite each time. We tryed prawns, whitebait and mulies. Not a fish in site
