Headed up to k town today for work and could not believe the amount of damn goats there was as you near carnarvon. Feom about 150 ks out they are everywhere. Never saw any sign of roos until about nanutarra . Them bloody cows are stupid tho. Just stand there in the middle of the road and wont move.
Anyone heading up be careful as you dont want to ruin your trip

Wide verges
make it a lot easier to see whats ahead these days. Is always a challenge especially with a bit of rain and the green feed on roadside.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Goats
I heard that the guy that has the contract for ridding the north of goats, keeps them all around that area, (north of Overlander), then rounds them up now & then for transport to the abattoir. We see a lot heading into Denham as well.
Safe driving Russ....
Cheers & Stay safe

Goats are pretty smart I
Goats are pretty smart I reckon. You don’t see many dead ones at all on the side of the road. You see more dead cows than goats.

Saw my first road kill goat
Saw my first road kill goat at Wooramel about 6 weeks ago. been driving the coast road for years and never seen one till then. They usually run away from the road not like sheep.
