Hi all,
Im off to Dunsborough this January for 1 week and taking down the boat (5.3m glass boat) for the first time.
Planning to fish in the bay around Dunsborough
Any advice on where to head for squid and whiting etc.
Also would be keen to head out deeper for demersals, can you get demersals in the bay and if so what area/depth to look in? Is swell an issue in the deeper areas?
Recommendations on best ramp to launch from in Dunsborough area would also be good.
Thanks

I'll PM you a couple of whiting spots once I'm back on the boat mate.
Old Dunsborough is good if you don't have a 4x4 but the parking setup is diabolical.
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

Head to Meelup and head out to 30m of water. Drift around and you will get some nice whiting.

Are there many crabs (of the marine variety) down there at the moment? Are they just straight out from town in the bay? Any tips on squid?
