Headn down to Dunny this weekend and plannin on takin me 15ft runabout. Just hopin to get some local insight. The coast line obviously differs to Perth's west facing coast so with this weekends forecast will I still have options to get out? And most importantly what those options might be, any salmon around? Any help would be great, if the weathers not on for the boat, Ill just leave it at home and hit up some shore based spots. Cheers

Saturday arvo / Sunday
Saturday arvo / Sunday morning at best, susceptible to east & north winds so with it being NE there will be lumps!
No salmon, plenty of squid & the usuals with reports of good pinky's. Best bet call into the fella's at Dunsborough Outdoor Sportz, go see the bloke they call 'Dave' & use the secret handshake (he will then divulge local info)
If you don't have a 4wd don't launch at quindalup! A guy recently buried his car well & good, after a fellow member here survived near drownings to crawl under his new car to attach recovery equipment in the surge & we managed to retireve the boat for him also. The mandatory carton wasn't even mentioned or even a single ale... knob

Cheers lamby, yeh I figured
Cheers lamby, yeh I figured the nw winds wouldnt be favourable, I like it comfortable so anything over 10 knots sucks, Sat arvo would be the go, the missus wants me to leave the boat at home tho, "your supposed to be catching up with people", might have to see Dave for some landbased info.
