Watch the tides
gets pretty shallow at Old Duns ramp at low tides. Also not much fun in an Easterly over 15knts.
Be prepared to get your tyres wet![](http://fishwrecked.com/sites/all/libraries/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif)
Same deal at Quindalup ramp.

Quindalup Ramp - No probs
I ended up using the Quindalup ramp and had no problems- easy launching and retrieving my boat with my 4wd.
I watched a couple of boats launch from the old Dunsborough and they had fun with the swell going across the ramp. One had to dip his cruiser right in at the back. The water at times would swell over the back axle up to the front tyres.
Also had a look at the vase boat ramp and found it a lot more affected by swell than Quindalup.
