Sambos / Rocky point

I would love a dollar for every time I have fished Rocky point and in that time [including pro salmon fishing for months at a time on Bunkers bay] and have never seen a Samson fish or YTK.
The two spots that come to mind are Torpedo rock over Yallingup way or ballooning north from the tip of Naturaliste, though I believe there is a seal colony there now.

though i have seen birds busting up the surface of rocky point, could be promising if you can get a balloon out far enough

as has been said in other reports there have been numerous Spaniards caught from the rocks between Rocky Point and Bunkers in recent times.

Possibly still a chance but this cool change might move them on.

Round from the Quindalup boat ramp they usually get tailor, skippy etc in the evenings and herring and whiting during the day, so worth the effort to bring a rod down.

i would say you could get a few herring, stayed at siesta park for years before finding a better holiday home in old dunsborough, it can be deadly in summer have never done much fishing at this time of the year down there
