Stuff that, weekends there
Stuff that, weekends there suck arse, you get there early, get a spot, cast livies out with bout 5-6 oz weight, fish the rising tide till and just after the tide change but you will get goons slotting in next to you casting out tangling up with your line etc, I did it once and only ever went there on week nights after that. If the scaleys are there theres every chance of a mulla. I fished the maratime museum end, right infront of the out of order dunny, there was or still is a snag further along towards the end, I lost a fish on it once, and straight down is always chairs and shit that gets thrown off, but the mullas do hang down there, the water goes right back underneath. The bright white lights attract the bait fish. Handfull of burley to bring the scaleys around and drop a bait chaser into them. Livey on a single or snelled 5/0 circles on 60lb mono and a running sinker. No drag and let it run for a bit if something takes it. Bring a crab net, some woppas in the deep water and plenty of beers, not much else to do. Heard of tuna followin ships in too during the day, big heavy metal slice would be the go
