Tell me all those good draw years for the pies, did you finish top every year?
Edit : silly question really, given the number of years the pies have been looked after - it is not a given that you finish top. We'll give it a good crack trying though
Specially for a colly wobble LOL. Stop trying to deflect attention. A draw is a draw and we still have some tough games to win. The pies have a tough run also so let's see how they stack up at the end. All in all, 7/1 in this comp as it's panning out could be worth gold. I'd certainly be more comfy being where the Eagles are at the moment. After going to the last 2 games I still get nervous. The boys seem to drop off to sleep for a while and then get forced into coming home strong. The thrid quarter today was a stark contrast to the rest of the game and sigbns that we still have some work to do.
Someone must have dropped some agro pills in Brendan Goddard's drink today. He certainly wasn't a happy chappy.
WCE only get to demolish Giants and GCS once this year.. not as soft a draw as some... plus, the draw for all teams is detirmined by the previous years ladder position!!! just like the draft... explains why sooky Mick took Collingwood to a GF in 2002(they just needed a coach at the time). Times like this just make me feel good about taking the pi55 outta Dorker suppporters when they talk about rebiulding... they were doing that back when they got Modra... WCE have had a few GF appearances since then hey...
I reckon 7 wins at this stage of the season has to be a good thing.. WCE could almost start resting players atm for the finals!!!

With the amount of ground he covers. Conditions there today were quite warm for this time of year. We took coats and scarves and ended up just dragging them around all day. I think Dean enjoyed having Nick back this week. It's nice to be able to stack the forward line as we do and Nick seems to be getting better all the time. If Dean's legs pack up then I'm all in favour of him sitting in the forward pocket for the next 4-5 years LOL.
Who was on Cox? Nobody from the Saints albeit half the team. Obviously. Dorkers will have the same problems. Sandy may well be tall but he is only as good as the guys on the ground and quite frankly they are just a bunch of wannabees. Lets see what happens. I know who I have my money on

Whilst there is allot of excitement about the Eagles this year so far they have only played two Top Eight teams, Losing to one by 61 away and beating the other by 5 points at home. The other wins came against 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 16th and 18th. Over the next 14 games WCE play eight top eight teams and last years premiers so based on current form they will win half of those games leaving you on 14 to 16 wins and a 3rd to 6th place on the ladder. Giving WCE one home final if they are lucky which based on how well they play top teams interstate equals a disapointing end to the season. Sorry to end all hope but hey at least it is better than last and there is always next season.
Your obviously some form of self-professed expert or a Taro Queen. The ladder will look a whole lot different by finals time and you will see Eagles in top 4 at the very least. If that's as far as it goes then it's a pretty fair effort I recon given the nature of the comp this year. My prediction is that if we make top 4 we will make the GF. Then again I'm not an expert.

I love how Bucks played for Port in the SANFL, Brissy when first drafted, then opted for the Johnny Cash and went to the Bar Codes down in Melbourne as soon as he could. Brissy - 3 premierships. Port - 1 Premiership (Not to mention Adelaides' 2 if he went home). Collingwood - 0. Sucked in Bucks!

10 minute mark final quarter, Brissy player tackled on the boundry and not called holding the ball... was going to be a score of some sort for WCE... even comentators called it as the easiest free kick they had seen but not given.
However, game was lost due to the coach i think.
They went defensive too early, with 6 minutes left on the clock. Doesnt matter how long the quarter went for, (38 minutes it was) the coach should have been on the blower instructing his players, which he didnt do.
I watched and I saw. It's time for a rest. Eagles were flat today and that can happen as we have seen in this round. it's mid-season and I would prefer to be 8/2 and at the top than scrapping it out in the middle order with coaches praying for someting to happen to save their careers. No excuses today from me thats for sure. Beware Uncle.. LOL we are still around and will see you in September ;)
So when did it take a legent to drag an ordinary team into a G/F? Buddie is by no means a legend and when you take Rioli out of the contest then there is bugger all else left IMO. Classifying the top two teams as shit teams just opens you up to personal ridicule. Watch thios space and see what happens in the second half of the season. The run for September is on!!!
Buddy is no legend but he is certainly a goddamned freak. Cracking last quarter that was, good to see the Bears prevail, when it looked like the Eagles would run away with it.
Watched the Ess/Melb game Frid night what a pearler. They played like champs and deserved the win, they were nearly cheated out of it by the same crap goal umpiring decision in the last quater. Bottom teams lift from time to time and it's good to see. It keeps the teams at the top in check. The Eags are a still a way from getting back some key players and are playing good footy. They will fire after the break.

10 minute mark final quarter,
10 minute mark final quarter, Brissy player tackled on the boundry and not called holding the ball... was going to be a score of some sort for WCE... even comentators called it as the easiest free kick they had seen but not given.
However, game was lost due to the coach i think.
They went defensive too early, with 6 minutes left on the clock. Doesnt matter how long the quarter went for, (38 minutes it was) the coach should have been on the blower instructing his players, which he didnt do.

I watched and I saw. It's time for a rest. Eagles were flat today and that can happen as we have seen in this round. it's mid-season and I would prefer to be 8/2 and at the top than scrapping it out in the middle order with coaches praying for someting to happen to save their careers. No excuses today from me thats for sure. Beware Uncle.. LOL we are still around and will see you in September ;)

So when did it take a legent to drag an ordinary team into a G/F? Buddie is by no means a legend and when you take Rioli out of the contest then there is bugger all else left IMO. Classifying the top two teams as shit teams just opens you up to personal ridicule. Watch thios space and see what happens in the second half of the season. The run for September is on!!!

Watched the Ess/Melb game
Watched the Ess/Melb game Frid night what a pearler. They played like champs and deserved the win, they were nearly cheated out of it by the same crap goal umpiring decision in the last quater. Bottom teams lift from time to time and it's good to see. It keeps the teams at the top in check. The Eags are a still a way from getting back some key players and are playing good footy. They will fire after the break.
