Upgrading to this as the boat shop supplied the one without maps by mistake, does anyone have this one?
Are the maps detailed (espically perth and mandurah) can they be upgraded?
The original one i had was a garmin striker and that is just a fancy fish finder and didnt have any maps at all.

I think it comes with standar garmin maps. Ok and more than adequate, not as nice as navionics but quite suitable for what you will need.

g2 vision
Garmin have their BlueChart Vision g2 maps if you think you need 3d views etc. Like John above, I think the standard g2 maps work very well.
