Electrical connections

Hi all
Re-doing my pot winch connections as they had corroded badly.
I have an inline circuit breaker which attaches via an anderson plug on the removable winch switch to a permanently mounted anderson plug on the boat.
I am considering using a bit of carbon conductive grease under the nuts on the breaker and then coating the nuts and posts with a sealer - possibly starbrite liquid electrical tape - which I already have.
Also thought of using a drop of carbon grease on the anderson connectors.
Any thoughts of pros or cons on the above
Cheersw

Used “Soft Seal” on my winch connections
And they are still corrosion free three years down the track

.
Soft Seal is great for spraying leaf springs as well
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

alminox grease
I use a similar product called alminox on any major electrical connections including battery terminals that are exposed to the elements. It does a great job at preventing corrosion. You can use it under the nuts as well as rubbing all over to protect.
Looks like carbon grease would do the same if not a better job.

If that's an eBay resettable
If that's an eBay resettable circuit breaker they are notorious for failing in cars let alone boats. I'd recommend the Blue Sea Systems or Bussmann CBs mate

Local advice
If you want quality electrical gear for your boat, and the cheapest supplier of Blue Sea, Bussman or Mechanical Products gear, plus proper tinned cabling; there is a guy in Duncraig.
His name is Filko and works in Marine industry, here is a link to his eBay page, but you will get a much better price if you call him direct (0410088374)
He posts or does pickup.

Mechanical Products are made in US, company started by former directors of Bussman?

Finished the re-wire of the winch
Finished the re-wire of the winch. Ended up going with soft seal and It looks like it will work well. Also used the anderson rubber boots with a cap. They look like they will keep water out when connected as well as own their own.Link to a picture below - Had a spare breaker Stevo so will use it till it fails. Last one got 2 seasons. Winch seems to be winding faster now as well with all connections free of corrosion. Looked up Filko and will definitely get next breakers from him. Keep one on the boat for when this one fails Link address https://imgur.com/a/RvgVGB3. Cheers - Eric
