shows you what value a good life raft and EPERB is worth. Cause in that cold water, you won't last long.

same boat, same crew went missing at the same place two weeks ago, says Channel 10 news.

Huge resources thrown into this search, these are very lucky guys.

Boat name

Mon, 2010-05-10 17:57

As far as I know they haven't named the boat that went down and the epirb wasn't registered to any vessel.

Lucky to be rescued alive, lots of white pointers down that way at this time of the year.

Empty Life Raft

Mon, 2010-05-10 18:37

Seems it wasn't so empty after all.  94.5 reported at 2pm this afternoon they had been rescued from their stricken vessel.

Why can't the press actually report the facts occasionally.

Boat

The boat has sunk, was a big ali about 65-70 foot named African skippered by Paddy Daniels. He has fished that area for many years plus crayfishing all the way from Carnarvon through to Cape Lluewin.

Can be a bit of a cowboy at times but is a very good fisherman.
