The end has come
Launched at Mindarie and headed out to pull the pots and finally drop a line for some dermersals.
The wind was bloody howling last night so was not very impressed when it was still blowing 20Kn SW this morning. Managed to get 3 crays from 4 pots, 2 of them had walked into sand patches, and 1 had a nice size wobby in it. The skipper cracked the shits with the wobby and boomaranged it 15 foot out so didnt even get a feed from him.
By the time the pots were done the wind was increasing in speed so the call was made to head in to some protected area and leave the dermersals alone for another day...:(
Or maybe i got 8 massive snapper and kept 1, camera was on the blink.... Couldnt resist

What ?
What, no camera Merv ???
Sounds like a better day than most of us had , lol
This time of the year is classed as "the windy season" by the local Australians. But have to agree, the wind is relentless and not looking good for going out wide in the near future .
Cheers Grant ....

That last reference was to a previous post and a very long link attached to it from years ago. A bit of a piss take.
