Engine extension cover !!

Gday guys,
another question from me. Looks like all I do is post on here for advice and questions.
looking at a boat with a 200 Honda in it but having a look at its engine extentikn cowling, it seems that it's been forced open and is a bit warped where it joins in the middle. Could this be a big people from salt getting in there and possibly not being flushed or cleaned correctly.
as attached is a pic of then engine and it's not the best pic but you can sorta see what I'm talking about.

That happens on all the honda
That happens on all the honda 175,200 and 225.
It causes no issues .
It happens because there is no fasteners there to hold them together,only 1 above and 1 below.

Arr yep no worries. I have had 3 Honda's now from 150 and 2x200 but never had this issue. Wasn't sure. Thanks so much for that info man
