Very nice
The smile says it all how deep was the water you pulled it from. I've seen the pulled from shallow bommies but not from reef or such over 8-10 metres

Crowning you the King?, ( a coronation!)
Oh heck you win , the only competition you will get is 6 other blokes with a pinkie each , taken in a tiny window of good weather in the south west!
Nice pick up on the lure, some of those NW cods and Trouts have no problems smacking a passing lure, a turn of speed some Dockers players might envy after

Thanks guys
All those big mouthed northern critters will smack a lure, the problem is then keeping them separated from home. So you are finding the balance between getting the lure close enough to take it, and being too close and getting instantly bricked. We got bricked a few times, I put it down to Coral Trout, just so quick in and out. Rankins will come a surprising distance off the bottom, but I've noticed that before when they take a floating gar meant for a mackerel.

Submit the photo as an individual image for potm not just in a forum. Will be starting up POTM again as we have a new sponsor for it.
