Esperance fishing tips

Hey all,
going down to Esperance for christmas and im wondering what i can catch down there, My main target is to catch my first salmon. What else can i expect to get down there and how? Ill be saying at a campsite away from the town centre.

i have 2 spots but they both about 2 hrs drive
there defenitely is salmon around that time of year - i caught some new years day this year and last
halco or probably any other make silver slicerslook for drop offs/ gutters if u are getting herring you are aboput in the right spot
whiting sandies and KG are around
