Essential lures for Bream

Guys, I have always fished for Bream with bait but now want to start using lures. I have used them before for bream but not really put much effort in to it. I want to change that.

If you had to choose 6 to start with what would they be and why?

I know Brenz will automatically say the Zipbait Khamsin that he seems to be doing so well with but what else?

I will be dinghy based if that makes any difference.

Cheers

BJ

Hey i'm not sure if brenz still has that bream candy set for sale, but if he does.  I'd go the 150$ for 40 lures over 120$ for 6?

Suppose the same could be said for most things for sale. But when he has doubles of the same lure i'm sure it must work. I guess a time comes when you realize you have wayyyyyy too many lures.

bream are feeding deep at the moment, metal vibes in bright colours have been working for me, thats in the canning river anyways, wen your fishing look for the baitfish around 30-60mm and match the hatch, cant go wrong if your lure looks like wat they are feeding on.

The 2nd one from the bottom here is my favorite lure to use, the 3rd one from the top is a good one too.

No not really, I keep the tip of my rod down low so it digs in straight away as a rule.

VX40's, ZX40's, Babyvibes, Atomic Hardz and Zippys just as a light warmup. The odd Scorpion doesn't go astray either. Jackall Chubbies fish well as do Cranka lures.

Thankyou

Thanks gents

Looks like zippys babyvibs and SX's seem pretty popular so i'll start with them and see how I go.

Nimbin I will grab a lure retriever as some of the above are too costly to leave attached to a log.
