Evap conditioner issues

Phoned many up . ( local ) most bar 1 replied. All others said 4 weak waiting period. One guy who did reply wanted double call out fee ( to squeeze in) for quote . ( wanker ) told him in polite way where to go . Cut long story story short . After many google searches . Someone had same issue as I had. $32.90 all done . Got me thinking how many people has he done over .

 My evap motor died weekend

Sun, 2021-01-03 20:32

My evap motor died weekend before Xmas the staff at Gomato in Bentley were really helpful and talked me into bringing in my board for them to test so I didn't buy the wrong part sorted out weather or not it was just the capacitor or not. Was able to get a new motor and install myself. I was worried at the time I knew no aircon guy would be available for weeks.

Thanks to google . Sometimes my aircon work ( water) sometimes it wouldn’t ( had to add water) then it kicked in . Then it would loose all water .? In end was a screwed ( seal on drain) then solinode wouldn’t let enough water out compared to what it was loosing . Rubber oring from boat fuel separator . And new soliniode from Bunnings all sorted. Stripped the whole aircon unit . Full bottle now . Not 1 drip ( until 6 hour flush) better than new

When it’s hot weather and you need them. Got refrigeration system down stairs . Evap upstairs . Refrigeration cost to much to keep on 24/7.

Indeed. Last work ours required was 14th of December in 2018 when it was humid as hell!
