Evil swell this evening

Sets coming through the Carnac GI channel almost topping 4 metres.....feathering on the peaks, flat calm other than that but still turned around as you never know if a particularly big set might close it out .....

Interesting to see the amount of rubbish in the river and harbour, like barnacle encrusted logs. No swell or surge but filthy water.
Sailing tomorrow so will need to keep an eye out.

BOOMERS!
Yeah met a mate ( whoms battling the black dog) at floreat beach tonite , with my 15 year old daughter in tow ( sporting a fractured ankle with cast)
and there was some real thumpers coming in , We got 1 salmon right on 8pm ( moon up time) and the wind was nil, hardly any weed.
geez we sound like a mottly lot aye? but its was far more enjoyable than watching the telly, and more productive!.
and yes the hire crutchs were washed down along with the fishing gear haha.

Yeah swell is still up and
Yeah swell is still up and has some push behind it. Surfed trigg beach this arvo, still some solid head high barrels to be had. Did notice more then usual fish activity in the water too, not sure if it was herring or tailor but something was attacking the tiny bait fish in the surf zone
