Exmouth in October?

Hi guys, I would like to know your thoughts about the fishing at Exmouth in mid October. I'm taking the old father in-law up to catch his first decent fish! We will be taking a smallish Stacer with us (4.5m) so hoping the wind is kind to us.
Cheers!

Ok fishing, but windy as
I'd try and get up here a couple of months earlier mate, very windy up here then. I have a 4.1m tinny and only got to use it a few times during October and I get a fair opportunity to go out when its good. The fishing is good when you get out, but your time frame is cut dramatically compared to March-July

Thanks Adam, I had a feeling the wind would be the problem but is the only time I can get the old bugger away this year. Might have to wait.
Cheers.

Yep!
Yep as Adam mentioned, for me Sept is the last months i fish Exxy unless it's landbased. You can still go up but you will loose a few days which you could do L/B fishing and when the winds are right you can work the ocean even in the calmer waters!
Cheers
