Exmouth sea rescue

Hello Fishos
May be a silly question but is there sea rescue in Exmouth?
I have been land based and boat fishing there for 20 years but never heard anyone call them
on radio nor have I ever used them. Wondering as I am heading up soon and are hiring a boat and would like
to log on and off with them. Thanks

Exmouth VMR
VMR mostly manned on weekends but think you'll find Tackle World, Police and a few private operators monitor Channel 16, anyway the people that hire the boats out should be able to inform anyone of this. Always hear the rigs operating on 16 as well.

Pretty sure Bluewater have
Pretty sure Bluewater have the radio in their shop turned on all week and if in the shit you’d be able to reach them, plus depending on time of year there are literally dozens of charter boats out other rec boats, and always rig tenders on the radio. Can’t remember their working channel off top of my head but most people call up on emergency channel and switch to boat to boat from there.

Channel 21 is the repeater
Channel 21 is the repeater channel and the normal working channel for that area.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

The camping and tackle shop has a radio on every day
The camping shop in town has a radio on everyday behind the counter. Call in and have a chat with them

VHF CH 21
I can here Exmouth crew clearly on channel 21 when I`m fishing out of Dampier.
