Exmouth - when to go
Submitted by Paul N on Thu, 2008-07-31 14:50
Looking to get back up to Exmouth next year and was wondering what the best time of year is for lighter winds. Is there such a time ?
Always seems that when the gulf is calm the west side is blowing and vice versa and all in the same say.
Not quite sure if good weather equates to good fishing but more time on the water can't hurt.
Thanks
Paul

Feb, March, April, May
Any of those 4 months, feb march being damn warm still, but good. April, May would be pick of the times in my book. Its generally how Exmouth is, windy one side, great the other, just have to pick which days to go and do what. :)

Do you happen to know the dates for Gamex 2009.
Are Marlin there all year round or are some months better than others , particularly the for the big blues.

Been up in June the last
Been up in June the last couple of years & were land locked because of wind on a few days. April May is better. Have a look at the attached historic info for Learmonth.
