Did a scan down the forums, cant see one for the footy.
Apologies if i have missed it.
Just want to say farewell to the great man Pav, and thanks for the memories.
His retirement speech to the playing group is on Docker TV. It is a nice little glimpse of the quality of leader he is.
I think it will be a while before we see a replacement of his quality evolve at Freo.

Giles.
After watching Giles when he filled in for a few games when Nic Nat was out, i was impressed with his style of play.
Has a big future with WC if he continues playing that way.
Adelaide set up for Nic Nat & our midfeild, but having him out threw a spanner in the works for them.
They didnt do their homework on him & suffered the consequences,
I think he had 9 possesions & 2 goals, but his possesions were hard gets with strong overhead marks.
He was originaly a forward wich explains his agressive play down there.
Thinking Lycet may need to pull up his sox a lil, i know it was Giles's first game for a while & was out to impress.
But i didn't see too many mistakes from a guy with nerves & out to stamp a future for himself.
Well done Eagles, first team to beat 3 top four teams in a row since Carlton in 1916.
Well done to star of the future Barras, hopefully Rising Star 2016.
A bye then into the business end with a home final agianst the Roos or Bulldogs.
Keep it going & keep the top 4 thinking........

This is the most exciting final round I can remember. Bit like the final rounds of the Sheffield Shield last year and the year before that. Hawks could still finish 1st or 6th. West Coast 4-6. Sydney will finish top 3. GWS 3rd or 7th.

I love how during the 6pr
I love how during the 6pr Pavfest today they kept pointing to his Doug Medals as his mark of greatness. With his lack of a Coleman medal, Brownlow, Norm Smith, Premiership medal etc etc, Pav winning Freo's B&F is pretty much the same as putting Andre De Grasse in the paralympics.

Nah in all seriousness, well done to the big Pav for a brilliant career playing every position on the ground at some stage I'm sure. A genuine champion on the field and by all accounts a true gentleman off the field and here's hoping he hangs around in a mentoring capacity for some of the young players coming through because the way he carried himself throughout his career is something young footballers can only aspire to.

Thanks PAV, was great to see the Dockers show a bit of dash to send a Great Complete and Drug free Champion out in style, good way to finish a shit year. With some new blood showing promise this year...Fyfe, Sandilands & Bennell fit, McCarthy and a Rd 3 draft pick, new training facility, things could only be looking up...us Dockers faithful can only hope.
