Hey boys and girls
After working my ass off for a couple years in the dessert i thought bugger it time to spoil myself. Ive always wanted to catch a gt but couldnt bring myselfbto booking a place like oman and go straight for a 50kg. Started looking around and settled on fiji. As i was pricing it up it was all priced as groups or twin share. Bugger it i thought ill just pay for the old boy. It took no convincing and we raced around getting gear and him a passport. Anyway enough yapping ill let the pictures do the talking

Out of curiosity
What sort of $ did it set you back? And how long did you go for?
ive literally got about 3 fish left in my bucket list (a legal size Barra, a gt, and a blue grouper) and by the looks of your trip, it’s probably the most efficient and cost effective means of nailing a gt. (Without owning a massive boat and heading north that is)

Uou can cater to wat u want. The accom is about 2 hrs north of nadi. The accom itself food and transfers is the cheap bit. Around 1300$ for the 6 nights but the expense comes in when u go fishing. Each day is $1000. Split that between 3 mates and you have a wicked time. If your looking im keen to go agsin hahw

Them GTs, or should I say Volkswagen’s, are like the ones we would catch out on the outer channel markers from Port Headland. Pain City.
