After so many people have gone on a holiday lately it would be interesting to see your favourite but it doesnt have to be a fishy photo

I have two favourites, not sure which I like better. They are not too recent, they were taken in december of '07 while I was on holiday in Egypt.

Hey Colin your second image

Thu, 2009-06-25 16:11

Hey Colin your second image is taken very close to where my hot air balloon picture was taken. Once we got off the balloon we quickly checked out those two statues before riding to the Valley of The Kings on donkeys! I'll tell ya, trotting right along the edge of those rocky cliffs on a wee little donkey was a bit frightening!!

I would have loved to do the baloon ride. What Nile cruise did you take?

Most of our time in Egypt

Fri, 2009-06-26 12:58

Most of our time in Egypt was on an Intrepid Tour. And our time on the Nile was on a trational Fellucca (sp?), you know those sailing boats that are everywhere. We were on that for two days from Aswan to Luxor. Gee I loved Egypt, the people were so friendly. Smile

Yep the Tiger was a cracka of a day. Hippos on one side, crocks on the other. Saw a leopard up a tree and elephants coming down to drink. All about 500m up from Victoria Falls. I could hear the water crashing down and see the mist. All in a days fishing. Awesome.

Canada - Mt whistler

Fri, 2009-06-26 11:57

Canada - Mt whistler nowboarding for 3 weeks.

If you ever want to hear nothing, and i mean just quietness not a sound anywhere. Head to the top of a big snow mountian. Going down the runs on your board and the only thing you can hear is the noise your board makes gliding over the snow....Best place in the world if you ask me.

Walpole holiday house

Adam, What is the name of the Walpole holiday house. Looks unreal. Is it for all to use or private?

We call it

Fri, 2009-06-26 17:14

We call it Cobweb Cottage, its where I grew up.  Haven't been back for a while and can't wait to again, its our own private retreat.  Great bream fishing not far away.
