 Bottom lock will give you a distinct flat image of the bottom. So basically it takes out the roll of the swell and the sea to clarify the bottom and anything protruding above like a bomby , fish school etc.

 White line is basically the sea floor and I have my bottom lock on 6m. Only looking at the bottom 6m of the water column,pretty much zooms in.great looking for structure

Nice one Jarryd...that is well and truly giving what you want. Picking them small lumps is were the treasure is.

Wish I could up grade...still struggling with the zoom set up on my 588.
