Fcv588 with 1kw tm260

Anyone running with this setup? Looking at upgrading my electronics, just confused by some info on furuno website, from what I understand you need a matching box to connect a 1kw tranny?? Extra $500 for a matching box, just want to know if it’s need for this setup or will the airmar tm260 for furuno plug in without needing this matching box??

TM260 will plug straight into 588 as long as you get the one with the 10 pin plug

Yeah I had the same worries
plugging a tm 260 into a 587. All good, plug and play
