Few shallow water gummys

Found plenty of gummy sharks in close today, not really what we had set out to target but the bigger ones gave a good account of themselves. All returned much to the shock of an old guy we we're telling on the ramp after . We catch these back in Ireland but they are a lot smaller and they are called smoothound but generally don't keep them there either.
Are they easy to fillet? Might keep a couple next time...

Cheers lads I will give them
Cheers lads I will give them a try next time we catch one. Caught them on a flowing fluorocarbon trace with a small running sinker using Muelies kingfisha, as I mentioned in post we weren't targeting them but they just came on the feed. I've caught plenty of specimens back home from the shore and boat and would always use peeler crab or squid to catch them so I was a bit surprised they took fish baits.
Matt I don't generally keep fish unless I know that they will not go to waste, seen it happen too many times before were fish are kept and then just binned as some anglers are inexperienced on what's decent to eat or not, but now that I know I will give them a try.
pm me if anyone wants the co-ords to the mark it's only about 2k out
Cheers,
Stewart
