Whites moving?
Im sorry for asking noob questions, but why would you want crayfish to move? Wouldn't they be easier to catch if they stayed in 1 spot?

They come to shallow to malt
They come to shallow to malt and hide and recover. At this point they are white crays. Then when they are hard enough they move back out deep in big numbers, this is when potters capitalise on them moving and the crays pile into their pots.

That looks great
I haven't got my pots in yet and doesn't look like it'll be this week. Any experts want to hazard a guess on when they will start to walk. I'm hoping after the next full moon.
