Fibreglass Repairs
Just had some glass work done and was so impressed thought I'd give the guy a plug. He went way beyond the call of duty. Boat was taking on a bit of water that I couldn't trace. Called Frontline Custom Fibreglass. He came to my house to check the boat out then did some repairs to the keel area plus a few other mods. Gave me a garauntee that it would not take on more than 2 litres in 4 hours use. Well after a water test was still taking on water so I called him back. He spent about 4 hours on the water with me trying to sus out the problem, took it back to his factory and after quite a few hours discovered a small crack hidden under a trailer roller. Had to lift the boat with his crane to find it. More hours repairing the crack, now looks like new. After all this more hours adjusting the trailer, the cause of the problem. And for all this...... NO CHARGE.
I've no connection with Frontline, just thought he deserved a bloody big plug for all this. Frontline Custome Fibreglass, Maddington. 0412352291. Thoroughly nice bloke.

Hey Jeff !!!
Bloody long time no hear from matey! Not since the FFB days! How ya bean?
It's always excellent to hear GOOD service/attitude/principle stories, but even better hearing VERY GOOD ones. The guy certainly deserves a plug!

Hey Colin
That's a few years ago now. Cruising along well thanks mate. Not enough fishing fishing time but is there ever? Guess you're still down south? Still remember the FFB, was a damn good day.

Sure was Jeff!
Yeah a LOT of organising but still remember the sight of all those boats congregating out from Herring Bay - was a great sight!
Your right, never enough time for fishing!
Yup, still down in Barker mate, freezing to death LOL.
Fishing the southern ocean is very different - have to pick your days. A lot less boats (except in summer when you lot invade LOL) - but the fishing is good. Still to catch a dhui down here though, so all these posts of Dhuis in here do my head in.
How's things at your end?

Col, sorry haven't replied for a while, better late than never!
Good to hear you're enjoying life down there and catching a few. I went out a few days ago, much frustration! Catch was several dhuies, only 1 size though, 3 thumping KG's, a huge black arse..... all caught by my deckie! All I got was 1 fox fish and a cuttle fish. Don't know what I did to upset the fish gods. Was a top day just the same, always good to get out on the water, especially now that I know the boat's not going to sink!

LOL Jeff!
Yeah, the boat not sinking helps make a good day LOL!
Cheers mate. Just need some decent boating weather at the moment.
Frustrating for sure when ya deckie outfishes you for sure (in that case, that's my wife LOL).
Ah well, next time mate! Give the deckie lots of 'rod not in the water' tasks next time
